This Hilton Garden Inn has a lot going for it -- rooms that are smartly appointed, luscious bedding and good mattresses, great complementary toiletries, even a nice lobby with complimentary cookies at the end of the day. On top of all that, it's walking distance to at least six restaurants and provides quick access to Lake Oswego's network of paths for walking, running and cycling. The only negatives were a slow tub drain (which was fixed immediately after we reported it) and one somewhat surly front desk attendant. Based on our experience, we're eager to try other Hilton Garden Inn locations.
Pros: Two thumbs up - lovely room, and a great location
