My experience is they charge high rates and select the most expensive procedural care options and/or drugs when administering animal care. In addition, their estimates for cost of care do not match the final costs when bills are presented. \r This establishment places the highest priority on generating revenue while providing animal care in a county setting for your pet. It is a veterinary practice that I do not recommend. more

I have been to Berkshire Veterinary Hospital since 2002 and they have always provided our pets with the best of care. This year they have stood by ourside through our pet Puddims surgery and diagnosis of cancer, available 24/7 when we needed to order her pain medication and when we called for her to be seen whenever there was a change. October 1 God decided she needed to go to kitty heaven and we received the support to make that final decision. Little did we know within less than a month we would again need to make the same decision for our cat Big Eyes when he needed to be seen on a emergency basis late at night and needed to join Puddim in kitty heaven. There was no doubt in our mind that the stray we took in our home yesterday would go to Berkshire Veterinary Hospital for her check up and shots. Their office was accomodating to our schedule even though today is Sunday. I highly recommend them to anyone that has pets because they not only treat our pets who are our children, but also are there to provide the education and support to us when we need it the most. more

Every vet who has looked after my pets here is top notch. They are very personable and professional and I especially like that they are available 24 hours if needed. Pets are like family! I would definitely recommend bringing your pets here. more

I have been bringing my pets to Berkshire Veterinary Hospital for many years. One in particular had a very rare condition that would have ended her life early and might have escaped detection had it not been for the vigilance of her doctor. From those working in the reception area to each and every vet there I have nothing but the highest regard. Each and every visit, for whatever reason, with whichever animal was managed thoroughly, caringly & professionally. Through the care provided to keep my pets well, to the care they needed when they were not,we received received focused and clear information about their condition and what all our options were in their treatment. Sometimes I pushed the envelope, wanting & needing to do everything possible. But when it was time to let go, we were given every consideration when bringing in a dear one for the last time. As a nurse I have often reflected upon the need for similar caring and concern from physicians caring for us humans. And sure the cost of veterinary care is not cheap. However, consider this. All of the training, time, technology & much of the medicine involved in veterinary care is identical to that used in our care. Yet it is a fraction of the cost of human medical care which sadly is often delivered with far less of the compassion I have come to expect at Berkshire Veterinary Hospital. more

These people dont care about your pets they are all about he money $165.00 for an emergancy just to walk through the door never go here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they dont care about your pet!!!!!!! Pros: None!!! Cons: never go here more
