I have no idea why this restaurant is so expensive. i have had way better QUALITY food for cheaper prices! Their steaks are not that good! Stay away from Houston's. You will spend too much money and be dissapointed. more

You can bypass all the wait issues if you come a little earlier. Food pretty consistent and value priced. Service is exceptional, especially one Courtney Griffiths. We always request that we be seated at one of her tables. Solid place to go for some medium priced, down to earth, sociable meal. Great place to go with the boys or to go with a date. more

Overrated, overpriced 4/25/2010

This was my first time going to this chain. The one in Coral Gables is nice, but in the end it's just too expensive for totally mediocre food. I had a chicken dish that was simply overcooked; the chicken was completely dry and devoid of any flavor. I won't be going back again. Pros: Decent food Cons: Too expensive for the quality of the food more

I never thought I would go to a steakhouse to find the best veggie burger ! I have yet to find one that compares. Fresh oats, cranberries and charred to perfection. Looks like a bloody,rare hamburger but actually it is just wonderful. My favorite. Steep price though. more

Houston we have a problem!! Over priced and over hyped, ok so it has good service, and a Sushi bar... but the menu is very limited. We ordered The NY Strip and they served it with butter on top of the stake!!! (I don't know about you but if I ordered beef I want to be able to taste the beef). Houston, save the butter for the corn on the cob. more

Okay this place consistently packs in the crowds, even in our so-called down economy. Why? Quality of service and food. The price is what you'd expect for a trendy restaurant in Coral Gables. Those of you that think it is overpriced have been eating too many palomilla steaks at Sergios for $8.95.\r \r If available try the Hawaian Porterhouse steak, the sushi roll with macadamia nuts is very good. For lunch the Thai Salad is great, or even a burger is no miss here. If you want expensive with less ambience, cross the street and try Mortons. Food just as good for twice the price. more

Houston's get a lot of hype because it's one of the few American-bistro restaraunts in Miami. Food is prepared well, but the menu is boring. It's not worth the wait, price or pretentious attitude. more
