Huh? What tables? What Beer 3/30/2006

This is a cinema... It has older style cinema seating... as in rows of seats. There's no tables, and there is no beer. I don't know where this NC person went to, but it wasn't our little Hillside Cinema. Hillside is in the heart of the courhouse area. It has 2 screens and plays 1st run movies at a reasonable price. It's not as fancy as the stadium style seating theatres, but if you want to get in watch a movie and not be crowded, this is your place. We been many times, and it's always a great place to be able to get away for a while. Few teenagers (our movie choices may have something to do with that), and no crowds or lines. And the owners are wonderful too. You can't ask for nicer people. more

Good times! 10/14/2005

You know when you are going to a movie with a date, you will really not have an opportunity to talk very much. It is so different at Hillside Cinema. You will see a movie (granted it is older) and actually be able to sit at a table and relatively comfortable seats. You will have a waitress and be able to eat pretty good food too. In the evenings, you can even order beer. It is a very cool place for a date. Plus, they offer kids movies and great little packages for children and the kids think it is very cool to be able to sit in the chairs and eat and stuff while they watch the movie. more
