Prompt, proficient, and polite 12/31/2013

Floor Coverings International does great work. The follow-up is excellent and the installers are very friendly and knowledgeable. They were really flexible with our schedule and everything went as planned. They installed a beautiful carpet for a little more than half of the rooms in our home and it looks wonderful. Nancy made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. We've received many compliments on the carpet and I couldn't be happier with the results. more

Floor Coverings International did a great job of refinishing the hardwood floors of our house. They were easy to work with. The person in charge was very nice, helpful, and sure to keep me updated. I was even sent picture updates every step of the way. more

We had to have our steps covered. We have wood floors throughout the house, and I had my elderly parents moving in. Floor Coverings International had to have them covered pretty quickly (I think within 2 weeks). Before Nancy even came over, she was great. She had already honed in on what I needed in terms of color, quality, and design. When she came over, she had two quotes for me already, in case I went with this or that. Sure enough, I ended up going with something she had already priced. Everything was right there for us, thanks to her! more

Our experience with Floor Coverings International of Hillsborough, NJ was great. We dealt with Nancy when we made our selection of what carpet to go with. She was extremely accommodating and able to meet with my wife and me after hours since our schedules were so busy. We didn't look at many different carpet options because we trusted Nancy's recommendations for the area in which we needed carpeting. She made everything very easy and flexible for us. Honestly, the best part of the experience was how good she was at recommending the best products for our home. The two installers were great as well. They were very attentive to our requests. They cleaned up well after their work was complete. We were more than happy with the product and installation of it all. We've already recommended FCI of Hillsborough, and we will certainly continue to do so. more

Great, no-pressure sales team 5/22/2013

Floor Coverings International of Hillsborough, NJ deserved five stars. There wasn't a high pressure salesperson and the lady we dealt with was very helpful. She made recommendations but let us make up our minds ourselves. She was always available and answered any of our questions- making the process easy and not overwhelming. more

I would definitely recommend Floor Coverings International of Hillsborough, NJ. Everything was great and I have no complaints. The lady who did the sales was very pleasant and accommodating. The contractors who did the installation were phenomenal. They were easy going, very hard working, and I didn't have to do anything. Everything turned out great. more

The lady from Floor Coverings International was really good about bringing all the samples and discussing all the options according to our specific needs. This was very helpful in making the right decision. Floor Coverings International then sent an installer that we were really happy with. He did a great job. There was lots of discussion and he was thorough in his work. We were very confident with what he was doing. more

I thought the pricing was good and the product was very good quality. The people that came to lay the tile made recommendations that were not initially suggested that improved the overall look. We had some problems with a chipped piece, but they replaced it immediately. The sales person was excellent, she wasn't pushy and she was knowledgeable about the product. more

They provided many different carpets for my house because it was a new construction. They were very helpful with the selection process and very knowledgeable of the selection process. The gave samples based on what I said I was interested in and helped us pick some out from there. more

Floor Coverings International came in and did the job. So far, it seems nice. They stripped the floors very well after the flood damage. They did precisely what they said they would. The floors still look great. I'm happy with their work. more

I hired Floor Coverings International of Hillsborough for a basement job. I contracted the shop to come in to do the measurements, give me a quote, and complete the job. All in all, I was happy with the level of service and quality of the job. more

Floor Coverings International of Hillsborough brought three or four samples for us to see which would match best with the colors in my home. When we decided on a product, they came in and installed it. It looks great! I had never bought flooring before and it was easy. more

Nancy was very professional, punctual, and kept her word. 12/28/2012

Floor Coverings International installed the wood stairs in my house. At one point, I was not happy with what was taking place. Nancy came in, said that they would make it right, and then did so. She was professional, punctual, and kept her word. She was all the things that most contractors aren't. more

Nancy, the woman who owns Floor Coverings International, is very hands-on and personal. She brought samples out to my house, and was willing to come back a second time with more samples. She listened to our goals as far as price, and I'm happy with the results. The installers she used were very good and very professional. more

Floor Coverings International left some fraying around the seams on my carpet. It shouldn't even be visible. I just recently noticed the fringes, but I haven't cut them yet. It's a big deal that when you put carpet down, you shouldn't see lines or fringes. As far as perfection, their work didn't cut it.
