The Hillcrest Inn Motel is without a doubt the WORST motel I have ever stepped foot into. Do NOT stay at this motel! You would be safer and cleaner sleeping in a roadside ditch. It is filthy, outdated, and infested with bed bugs. I dropped my keys behind the dresser and moved the dresser to retrieve them. What I found under the dresser was horrifying. Along with a large amount of dust covered trash was a huge knife covered in dried blood. We contacted the local police who, after examining the knife, informed us that it's the type of knife that goes on the end of a gun. The officer promptly took the knife into evidence in case it was involved in a crime. \r

Before contacting the police about the knife, we had went straight to the motel owner whose first words after telling him about the knife and bed bugs were ""NO refunds"". He was one of the most unpleasant, rude, and creepy people I have ever met in my life. Instead of being treated with concern, compassion and hospitality, we were met with hostility, anger, and threats. We were at the motel for less than a half hour and were ulitmately denied a refund. In the end, I suppose it was worth paying money just to get the heck out of there. \r

You couldn't pay me to stay in this hotel. My advice to you? Take your money and run... far, far away.
