Hillcrest Country Club

This course is absolutely one of my favorite to play. It requires you to actually play the game of golf not just whack a ball around. EVERYTIME I play here I feel as if the great legends of the game are still there and walking among me. The classic design is much better than many other area courses I mean it's a Donald Ross come on...this is a no brainer. With this course now being open to the public EVERY golfer should take advantage and play golf at Hillcrest. more

Played in an event there yesterday. Course was in great shape and staff made everything very ease. With being open to the public now, I'll be back soon. Thanks more

This may not be the worst course in the city. It is definitely, however, in the top three. more

Do you enjoy the way airlines treated you during that long trip home during the work week? How about when someone in traffice cuts you off and then flips you the bird? The Owner who was present at the wedding did not follow the arrangments made prior to the wedding, and overcharged, rude to guests, rude to wedding party, and did not act in a professional manner. After confronting owner about issues, he became very rude. the owner decided on his own behalf to charge my credit card with out authorization or giving a invoice. He fully understood the amount was in dispute but decided again to act unprofessional and charge the card anyway. I would not recommend this venue to anyone at anytime. I have been forced to take legal action!! Cons: MANAGMENT!!! more

The owner cussed at me. There were water stains all over the ceiling. There was debris all over the green. There was no organization or consistency with their policies. In my opinion since it has been sold to the new owner it has gone drastically down hill. What a shame. I do no recommend this venue for anyone about to get married. Unhelpful staff. I was in a wedding here 2 days ago. When you walked in there were buckets on the floor catching water from the dripping ceiling, the area where we were give to get ready was EXTREMELY HOT after complaining about this we were told to go stand in the hall (mind you the bride was told this!), there were golfers golfing around the wedding, Guests were not being aloud in for what they looked like NOT what they were wearing I say this because people were aloud in wearing jeans we do have pictures to prove this!, someone who claimed to be an owner walked around kicking people out! he sat in the entrance after YELLING AND CUSSING at the hysterical bride nit picking everyone who walked into the reception! I do not recommend this place to anyone!!! Cons: Wow too many to count read details! more
