I was a former tenent of Hillcrest and a good tenent I thought. as I never had a problem wherever I leased an apartment. The best experience I ever had was with Marion I believe her name was of Hillcrest apartments. She is the leasing consultant that sits in the front office. She is very friendly, helpful, skilled at what she does and really knows what she is doing as she goes the extra step to help you and get you into a apartment. She should be running the place in my opinion. No fake airs on her part and she makes you feel comfortable. Anyway, In contrast to her excellent service and after I moved in., I had a problem with repairs that Marion was not in charge of. To my surprise, I found the service was very poor. In fact, I would say it was incompetant. I believe Catherine is the one in charge there and I found that Catherine will nickel and dime you to the poor house and will do anything to avoid the property spending money on repairs that are not at fault. She seems to have zero info on the property or who is even paying for her paycheck. If you need any kind of repair , you need you have to have a detailed reason why. If not ......YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE REPAIR. In fact, any kind of problem that involves in my opinion poor workmanship, they will try and blame you for and thus try and charge you for. The contrast from the leasing agent and the manager Catherine is a great divide. Cathering seems to only want to take money out of you while Marion will do everything in her power to help you. You will be nickled and dimed when moving out with the smallest of delails being charged to you. Overall, I would say avoid this place like the plague. If only there were were more good and honest people like the marion the leasing consultant. Just goes to show you that good people are still shut out.
