Not the most challenging! 9/19/2005

I like coming to the Hillandale Golf Course when I want an easy game. I have played here three times and have not been challenged very much. I would suggest this course to a beginner or intermediate player. The course is nice and spacious! I enjoy my games here, they are relaxing when I need to unwind. I recomend this course, just not to the avid golfer who wants to improve his game! more

Great place to play 8/20/2005

The Hillandale Golf Course is a beautiful, and challenging course to play. It is conveniently located to Duke University and is located right off Hwy. 85/70. The pro shop carries almost anything a golfer could need from clubs and balls to water and other beverages. Beautifully manicured greens make it easy to putt on. Open to the public. A great place to play on a beautiful Carolina afternoon! more

good cheap golf course 8/18/2005

located about 2 miles from duke university, hillandale golf course is an excellent place to play an affordable 18. the course is pretty flat, and there aren't a ton of hazards outside of trees and the occasional pond/stream, but it should provide excellnt entertainment for beginner/intermediate golfers. green fees are quite reasonable. driving range is also good. more

The Hillandale Golf Course Pro Shop has been rated one of the best in America and there is quite a selection of clubs, apparel, and other golf related equipment available. The Pro Shop is right next to the Hillandale golf course as well as the driving range. The course itself is frequently quite busy, though a fun course to play. more
