Fabulous Tea and Customer Service! 8/26/2008

The Hill Tea Bar is a real gem. The variety of loose tea is exceptional and the owner is happy to share her knowledge! This is definately a great place to hang out and relax with a cup of tea. They have a beautiful garden and also a nice inside seating area. Try the yogurt and granola parfait- it is the best I have ever had. Pros: Everything was excellent more

Eclectic atmosphere, cozy and relaxing. A great place to escape and rediscover inner self 8/14/2008

We spent two hours enjoying the teas and the atmosphere, both inside and out. The worlds seemed to melt away as our taste buds and olfactory were tantalized and then pleased by the tea selections and the lite fare we enjoyed. The intelligence on the various tea selections from Pam, the very gracious proprietor, was interesting as well as enlightening. Pros: The world wil melt away as you step though the door into a wonderful visual experience Cons: None!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Wonderful Tea And Wine Class 8/14/2008

I stopped by for a cup of tea and it was really good. The staff spent time explaining the different types of loose tea they stock (over 50). The experience was great. They even have wine classes. I attended the summer wine class and it was a great time. Pros: Everything was great Cons: There were none more

Wonderful place to drink tea and relax 8/2/2008

If you're on in Chestnut Hill and you're in the mood for a cup of tea (iced or hot), you should stop by The Hill Tea Bar. The selection of teas is varied, flavorful and unique compared to most places you'll find. You can find classics like Earl Grey or Peppermint, or you can indulge yourself with something more exotic such as their Pina Colada tea or the rare Pu-Erh tea from China. The iced teas are delicious on hot days! If you want something to eat, you can get a freshj pastry or a tasty organic wrap. Pros: Service, Selection, Flavor, Ambience, Atmosphere, The outdoor garden is incredible more

We loved this place. 6/1/2008

My girlfriend and I went to this tea bar and we totally loved it. We sat outside and had mango tea smoothies and they were delicious. We also had the organic wraps and they were really fresh. The service was so pleasant and helpful that the entire experience was a delight. We will definitely be returning- oh, and did I mention that the outside seating area looks exactly like an an English garden? I cannot say enough about it. Pros: EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE Cons: None That we could see more

Excellent tea and scone plus superior customer service. 5/21/2008

This place had pastry to die for and the owner spent a considerable amount of time helping me select a tea. I liked the tea so much I bought some to make at home. I had my tea and pastry in their garden and it was a very relaxing experience. They had salads and wraps that looked fresh and I am definately going back for lunch. Pros: Right in downtown Chestnut Hill- you can sit outside and people watch while you drink your tea. Cons: There is no table service; you order and pay at the bar and your order is immediately made and given to you on a tray. This was okay because you get served faster. more
