This Birmingham gallery is one of a trio of galleries in this town I would recommend (along with Robert Kidd and David Klein). It shows both nationally known artists and unknown folk artists, making this a unique blend of artwork. The space is airy, uncrowded and sunlit, and the staff is very friendly, even eager to talk to you about the art regardless if you are buying or not. Andy Goldsworthy, Mark diSuvero, and many other well known names are next to charming hand-made machines made somewhere in the rural wilds. Be sure to take the address with you, though, because it is easy to miss being in a residential neighborhood.
