Editorial review from Citysearch 5/16/2013

I just want to give a shout out for Dr Peterson and his assistant Amanda. I have had many pets in my day and went to several Veterinary offices as I have moved now and then. I absolutely love them both. They treat my dog as their own. When Dr Peterson does his exam he tells me everything he is doing in layman's terms. I have a Doberman and she is very skittish. Dr Peterson just sits on the floor till she warms up to him. I will continue to go there and suggest you do too! more

poor customer service 2/3/2012

We are new to the city and wanted to have this clinic as our vet service for our 3 dogs since they are associated with an upscale boarding place just behind them. We use boarding 3 to 4 times a year, which can cost upwards of $700 per week. We are also closely associated with beagle and labrador rescue organizations and have extensive exposure to veterinarians. ....We scheduled 2 vet visits. Each time we had to wait 20 to 30 minutes in the waiting room, even though they were Not busy and they had empty treatment rooms. The 2nd time, our 2 dogs were unusually anxious and barking a lot and even this did not prompt the frontdesk clerks to usher us into a treatment room any quicker. We just got a longer chance to see the frontdesk receptionist smacking her gum. Great. I think that we grew accustomed to the very best of Houston boutique vet clinics and Hill Country clinic comes out looking pale by comparison. We will now take our dogs to a large Hill Country clinic up the road that has been recommended, where the vets are experienced and the frontdesk staff knows to give speedy and cheerful service to minimize the stress on the dogs and their owners. Clean, knowledgeable, fair prices 1/16/2007

I'm new in town and only been here once, but I was impressed. The clinic was spotless, the vet tech was friendly and professional, and the vet was knowledgeable and gave my dog a complete exam. I was not pressured to buy anything or have costly tests done, something I have run into at other clinics. more
