Nice office, attentive staff that seems run ragged. Maybe I just came in on a bad day, but the Dentist was rude and condescending to his employees right in front of everyone in the waiting room. I felt uncomfortable being in front of this. Most dental offices are warm and welcoming to make people like me at ease. This was not the case, I figured if the dentist treated his employees this way, how was he going to treat my teeth. I left and found a wonderful dentist in Woodinville, Dale Travis, where I feel at home. more

I found this office through 1-800-dentist. I had been having a bad toothache for the last few days, haven't been to the dentist in a long time either. I was able to get in the same day and be seen right away. Assistant took an xray to see what was going on and doctor came in right away as well to check on me. Got the news no one ever wants to hear...i needed a root canal!! As much as I dreaded the thought, I knew I wanted to save my tooth so I decided to go with it. I thought for sure I would need to come back but they managed to get me started right away, thank god! i just wanted the throbbing to start. It was the easiest appointment I've ever had, amazing to be able to say a root canal was easy to go through. I'm so glad I was referred to this office! more

I got a worse and worse experience with this clinc. I went for a cleaning and the Dr recommended to extract one of my wisdom tooth. I ask them for that do I need to go to Oral surgeon and they said no. they can do that. I was scarred and 2 times I change the appt. finally I wnt there.There was 2 filling and one extraction. Filling is over with 10-15 mins. Then the worst part. They tried to extract my teeth. Very pain full..there where 2 Dr s, both trying in every 10 mins for 1.5 hr. They used lot of equipments. Finally I said I have insurace and I don't have problem to go to oral surgeon.After 1.5 hrs trying they finally gave up. My one side was numbed by the time. Lucky I got a Surgeon appt for the same day. When I was there in Surgeon office numbness was gone and started paining very badly. swelled one side and I can't even open my eyes.Then the Surgeon immediately remove my tooth in 10 mins. and I never feel it. the swelling was gone in mins. After that I checked and this Highland Dr broke one side of my other tooth..Please I'm telling the truth. A real Horrible day.. more

I have been to several dentist's in my life time. I would have to say that this office is the worst! It is dirty! The receptionist (Brin) is horrible. She cuts you off, answers phones when you are try to speak to her, overall she is just not experienced when it comes to working in a medical office. The dentist's act as if they are just out of dental school. Infact the dentist that I saw was just out of school and was explaining to me how he ""moonlites on the weekends"" His work turned out to be over priced and not the best. The other dentists advised me that I needed a $2,000 dollar root canal and after having two other opinions this was not the case, just a simple filling.. They discuss your medical condition and plan in the lobby infront of a room full of other patients who have been waiting. They will hound you over and over to make a follow up appointment and then provide you with horrible service. I brought my niece here doing a favor for my brother. She went back for her appointment and I was not allowed to attend, later in the car ride home she told me that she was never seen by an actual dentist, just two dental assistants. This appointment was for an exam and cleaning... Later when my brother checked his insurance EOB they had billed as if the dentist did the exam?? I would not recommend this dentist office to my worst enemy... more

I am a dental student, and I have done interns in other clinics for observations. And this dental clinic is the worst clinic I have ever been to. I visited the clinic for my friend, and my friend and I ended up waiting for an hour(with an appointment) for the first check up which was only less than 5 minutes long. I don't even want to give this clinic a star; however, a star rating is the minimum rating I can give out. Not to mention that if you have cheap insurance, don't even bother to look up this place. more

So, I hadn't been to the dentist in almost 8 years, yes I know that's a lot of years to not get my teeth flossed by a professional, but what can I say, I have this horrible memory of going to the dentist as a child, and after moving up to Kirkland, I hadn't really had any problems, so I never found a dentist. This all changed a few weeks ago, because I had a tooth break while eating lunch. I figured no big deal, it didn't hurt, so I didn't think about it. As I continued to eat my sandwich, it began hurting everytime I bit down... so I knew I better call a dentist as it was Friday. I called Dr. Rekhi's office and they said they would get me right in as soon as I could get there. \r \r I spoke to Natasha, got directions, gave her my insurance information, and headed over to the office. I walked in the door and was greeted by name, this was unique! The office is pretty nice and very clean, and DOES NOT smell like a dentist office!!! This was very comforting. I filled out paperwork, and there were a few other people in the room, so I thought I'd be waiting, but I was wrong. I was called in almost immediately, and Dr. R came over to look at my tooth. I was impressed at how quickly they got to me, and then spent time with me to explain what happened, and how I could fix it. I was given 3 options all in writing. This was really nice, and Dr. R explained each option very thoroughly. \r \r I ended up deciding that I would do the crown. I let them know I was scared of the shot, they said don't worry you won't feel it, and they were right! The doc came over and gave me the BEST SHOT of my life, I didn't even know I was already numbed WOW! The experience was great, I got a temp put on, and it looks and feels great... they got me in, didn't hurt me, and were nice to me! I didn't even get a lecture for ignoring my teeth, instead, they offered me a phased plan of action! I recommend this office to my friends and family! I am so relieved to have found them! I am not a person who likes going to the dentist but this visit was the best I have ever had. Dr Rekhi was very gentle and made me feel super comfortable during my cleaning. I had explained to him prior that I was not a fan because of past experiences. Hey said no problem and the lady that started the cleaning was very nice and nery aware of my phobia. Afterwards Dr Rekhi told me I did need some work done on a broken tooth that I had but he was very honest about when it needs to be done and even offered me a temporary solution that he said would be a lot less time to do. I didn't have any cavities which was funny cause my last dentists said I had two...hmmmm how many dentists out there fill cavaties that aren't cavaties. Highland Dental is an honest and comfortable setting for anyone. Oh ya and you get to watch TV while your cleaned. Thanks Dr Rekhi. Pros: Three offices on the Eastside more
