Excellent Day at the Dentist 11/21/2011

I saw Dr. Kong and Felicia. They are extremely personable, knowledgable and friendly. I am never afraid of the dentist but it is nice to be in the presence of an easy going, light - hearted staff who knows what they are doing. And the office is beautiful! LOVE the blanket provided b/c I was a little cold - nice touch! Thank you! more

Increase bill without prior notification plus hidden costs 11/10/2011

I don't know why Dental offices do this. I go in for a cleaning am quoted 11$ after insurance, but the cleaning was charged 108$. In the process of the cleaning, the dental technician spoke some medical terms about level 3-5 progression, which I didn't know at the time ended up being 25$ extra - this without them even telling me prior to doing the procedure. Then I asked (you can fault me for this) to have a cap of a tooth grounded down which the dentist said okay to and did it in 5 minutes, but increased my bill by another 60$. This again without even telling me prior to the procedure, if i had known I would have not gone through with it. You can fault me for not doing the insurance research prior to giong in for the cleaning, but my argument is that with the cost of any medical procedure these days (example: 5 minutes of tooth smoothing=60$) the dentist office should tell you the cost of prior to doing the procedure, but here they quickly went from one procedure to the next. Made me feel like they only wanted money. more

Wonderful 10/25/2011

My sister always hated going to the dentist. So I took her to High Point Family Dental and now her chipped tooth is fixed and she can smile again. It was a great experience and I would recommend every one go see the great doctors and wonderful staff members!!! more

My 8yr old daughter was deathly afraid of dentists, Her last to a dentist didnt go so well. when we walked into High Point the staff and the atmosphere just made you feel so comfortable and welcome. Both 0f the dental assistants where extremely informative,and Dr Kong was so wonderfully patient with both my girls. all n all everyone there gets 5 stars more

Tooth repaired on a partial plate. 10/6/2011

I just had a tooth repaired and it cost $85.00. The last time it was only $45.00. I think to glue a tooth on a plate for $85.00 is too high for a job that took less than 5 minutes. The service was good, rates are too high. Larry more

It was my first time to this office/dentist. My 4 yr-old son and I both had appointments and I cannot write enough about Dr. Kong and his staff! For me, I've been to 5 or 6 dentists in my life - all okay, professional, etc. but this one I am actually taking time to review because I had such a great experience. It was my son's very first visit to the dentist so I was nervous of how he might react to the whole "dentist experience". At first, he was a little apprehensive but Dr. Kong and his staff were incredibly patient and made him absolutely thrilled with his experience (he wanted to know if we could go the very next day!). The office is brand new and ornately furnihed - it's not just another typical dental office. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!! more

When it comes to any kind of doctors appointment, medical or dental...I typically fear them. However after visiting High Point and having work done by Dr. Hariri and meeting Dr. Kong, I knew I had my new family dental office; It only seemed fair to write a review and share my positive experiences....Talented, meticulous, kindhearted, and courteous, both doctors and staff took their time to welcome me, make me feel comfortable, and I was highly satisfied with my dental work. Lastly, the nicely decorated and clean office finalizes my overall experience, and I end this review by giving the office an A+. Thanks High Point staff for making my experience enjoyable! more

The dentist and staff are very good in taking care of their patients. They make sure you are comfortable and always ask how you are feeling during the procedures. We highly recommend this dentist. more
