I was new to the area a year ago and did not have a clue where to take my dogs, who are getting on in years. A friend of a neighbor referred me here and I am so grateful. They are all so caring. more

Perfect experience 5/27/2011

From the minute you walk in the door and meeting the staff and Dr. Pierce, it is just an awesome experience. Dr. Pierce clearly explains everything she is going to do and gives you options and does not push products, procedures, etc on you. I am so happy to have found such a great place to take my pets! more

I love this vet 5/23/2011

I had been going to the same vet since i was a child and several years ago one of my dogs got cancer, my current vet was making me feel guilty for not spending thousands of dollars for a procedure that wasn't even going to confirm if the cancer could be stopped or not. I went to High Plains for a second opinion and they were wonderful-told me all the facts of my dogs condition and i made a none guilted decision. I have since brought all my dogs (5) and cats (2) from the other vet to High Plains. I have recommended numerous people who have all also given great reviews of the staff and doctors. I will continue to recommend High Plains to EVERYONE i meet. They are truely wonderful!!! more

Bes and most caring vets in town! 5/20/2011

I have been going to Dr McKenney since 2005 and she is like famiy to me and my dogs (past and present) She is so caring and loving with the good news and the bad and I always trust the care my dogs receive from her and all the other vets and staff at High Plains. From the minute you walk in their door till you leave every person is freindly and caring. If you want the best and most caring vets and staff in Colorado Springs this is where you need to bring your animals for care! more

Very Friendly and Caring! 4/24/2011

After a bad experience with previous Vet, needed to find a Vet group I could trust. After asking around and reviewing, I heard great things about High Plains and visited with our new puppy. I was thrilled to find very caring office staff and Vet expertise! We found our new Vet office, and Tucker Waffles will be bringing his sister to visit next! more

Recently moved 4/20/2011

We recently moved here and I was dreading finding a new vet. We called around and felt like High Plains wasn't going to be absurdly expensive. Decided to give them a try and was nothing but impressed. Dr. McKenney was very thorough and seemed to actually care about our dog and any questions we might have. I am glad we don't have to look any further for a new vet in town. :) more

Great Vet and My dogs love them! 4/1/2011

I just recently bought two Newfoundland puppies, Marshal and Lilly! Marshal started having an upset tummy so I brought them in and the staff was very friendly and they were able to take care of them and get him better! They always remember their names and what we were in for last to check up on them! Office is always clean and even when they are busy they are able to handle it and still be friendly! more

Great facility, doctors, and staff. 3/31/2011

The staff and doctors treat our dogs like their own. Everyone is friendly and caring. Dr. McKinney (our primary vet) takes her time with us, answers all our questions, and takes excellent care of our babies. Phone calls are returned quickly by the staff and lab results are called to us by our pups' doctor, which I appreciate. Thanks, High Plains, for your high level of care that you give to our important family members. more

The vets at High Plains are best we've ever had; they've helped us keep our animals healthy, and are as compassionate to pet owners as they are to their pets. We know that our babies will always be treated with as much love as they would receive in our own home... more

Absolutly the BEST!! 3/11/2011

I can't say enough! Every visit I have been greeted by both Staff & Dr.'s warmly. They make me feel like they really care about both me and my pets. I feel like I am going to see old friends everytime I go in. I bring in foster dogs at times and they always work with the rescue group and me about the care for the dog. After the 1st time I brought in a foster dog I knew I had finally found the PERFECT clinic for my "babies" too. I know I can count on them for honesty and the best care. I have never been treated better than at High Plains! more

Wonderful, truly caring veterinarians! 3/5/2011

I have been 100 happy with the care my dogs have been receiving at High Plains! The doctors are awesome. Staff is just wonderful. Dr. McKenney has been amazing. From routine care to an emergency c-section, I have been pleased with everyone during my visits at High Plains. I am very picky when it comes to the vet I take my dogs to, and I have been nothing but pleased with High Plains! They explain and also take the time to listen. They care, truly care, about pets and the people who love them, very refreshing! I have and will continue to recommend them. more

All staff members are very helpful and friendly, and they are very attentive to my pets. They have detailed procedures which all staff seem to be well-versed in using at each visit. That gives me assurance that my animals will be receiving the best of care. more

I found out about High Plains through a friend and I am so glad I made the switch. The entire staff is friendly and do their best to get my dogs the care they need. I am fully confident in the care and wisdom provided by the Doctors and technicians, I would/will recommend them to anyone in need of a Vet! more

We were told about High Plains by a local friend when we had just relocated here in the Springs from Italy. They are all very friendly, helpful and we are 100 grateful to have found them for our family members, Cooper & Betsie. High Plains is part of our family now and we will always recommend them to anyone with pet needs. They are a truly compassionate, wonderful team! more

Wonderful!!! 2/22/2011

I have never been so happy with a vet. The office and staff are very friendly. However I can not speak enough kind words about Dr. McKenny. She has saved my little guy several times. Unfortunatly i bought from a pet store, so he has been sick his whole life. Dr.McKenny has been such a blessing, we are so thankful for her. Her devotion and passion for animals is very evident. I highly recomend this office and Dr.McKenny, they care and treat your animals like thier own. I honestly believe that this kind of care and dedication is hard to find anymore. We are so greatful!!! I can't say enough! 2/20/2011

I have been with Dr. Pierce going back to her days with N. Academy Vet Hospital. She treated two of my Rotties who developed cancer (mammary gland tumors & lymphoma). She is very caring, considerate, educated and professional. The techs in the office are the greatest bunch who make you feel welcome and your pets feel loved. I even named my new Rottie after a tech's dog, Summer. I'm very thankful for all of them and would highly recommend them to anyone. more
