A month ago I was sitting at a Black Diamond Bakery having a coffee with a friend of mine when my house came up in the conversation. I was explaining to him how my roof was nearly 30 years old which meant that it had probably reached the full extent of it lifetime. My friend recommended for me to call High IQ Roofing to get an extensive roof inspection; that the owner would do it himself and that he would tell me the best path to take with my best interest in mind. Sure enough, everything that my friend told me was true. The inspection was more than extensive, he took pictures of the outside so I could see where the healthy areas were located as well as the not-so healthy areas, plus, he looked in my attic to double check for leaks. He was dressed like a professional business man which is not what I expected to see from a roofing contractor. The bonus was that the owner did have my best interest in mind; yes, my roof was old but it was still in decent enough shape -a few areas could be repaired which with help the roof could last a bit longer. He gave me an estimate for a new roof IF it fit into a budget now but the roof could last me another year or two without many concerns along with an estimate for the repairs. I was so impressed with his demeanor, approach, and the bid that I hired High IQ Roofing to replace my roof. The experience of them replacing my roof was just as professional as meeting the owner. High IQ Roofing preformed marvelous work on my home. The plywood was bad, the felt paper was trash, the shingles were falling apart, and the house looked terrible from the road because I had an old shabby roof that was an eye sore. Many people amass multiple bids from various different companies- this was my original plan, my first appointment was with High IQ Roofing and before our talk was even over I knew that I knew that this was company that I wanted to work on my house. Not just because of their education of how to properly install roofs, it was how well-spoken the owner was. The crew came, tore off my old roof then replaced it with my brand roof in two days. No mess. No clowning around. Everyone followed safety procedures. I actually climbed up on my roof after everything was completed just to insure that they did everything as promised- which they did.
