After years and years of fearing going to the dentist and having to take a valium before I go, I have finally found a dentist who understands my fear and treats me accordingly. That also goes for the hygenist, they have a way of making you feel very comfortable and are truly aware of how you feel. They are both personable and professional. They take the time to talk to you and explain everything. The entire staff is great. I still can't say going to the dentist is my favorite place to go, but I no longer take a valium nor do I white knuckle it anymore when I am in the dentist chair. I have recently moved and now live an hour away from them, but there is no way I am going to change my dentist now that I have finally found such a great dentist in Dr. Pete Gallos. I highly recommend this Dr. if you are looking to change or searching for a new dentist., you won't be disappointed in Dr. Pete Gallos. Any mother out there will be able to relate to this. I was visiting my sister in IL for the New Years holiday weekend when my oldest son, Jason, developed a tooth ache. He announced to me that it had been hurting for a while, but he had just hoped it would ""go away"" because he hated going to the dentist. Well here it was Sunday night and we planned on driving 7 hours back home on Monday. That wasn't going to happen with a 17 year old in tears because of the pain. My sister insisted that we call her dentist first thing Monday morning and we did. NO way could he see Jason, so we called Hidden Lakes Dental which was the closest to my sister's house. We explained the situation, and they got him in to see the dentist, Dr. Crowl, just before lunch. Jason was now in even more pain and dreading the prospect of seeing ""the dentist."" Dr. Crowl was so nice and patient with both of us, and explained everything to us. He gave us a couple of options, and then made sure that his tooth would be saved and that he would be pain free for the long car ride home. We got into see our own dentist today, had to wait 4 days for the appointment, and he said all the work was terrific and that he would complete the root canal and crown for us. After the appointment, Jason was shaking like a leaf because he didn't want our dentist to do it. He said he would pay for the train ticket to Chicago if he could come back to his aunt Diane's in Illinois and have Dr. Crowl do it for him. Now that's a resounding endorsement and I think I'll give them a call on Monday to see if they would set-up an appointment for Jason. Pros: Kind, Polite, Quick, All around professionals!! I was very nervous. I needed lots of work and needed to be put to sleep. He did a great job. I love my smile and feel very satisfied. My kids really find him fun and like to go and see him. I cannot speak about the payment policy. I payed my bill and everything was great. Pros: Loved the personal experience Cons: Dr. Gallos makes me want to see the dentist more

I was seen promptly at my appointment time this week, had a great experience again getting my teeth checked and cleaned. Unfortunately, I have to go back for a filling, but since I like it there, I'm not really all that worried! Pros: Great care and staff more

Just got my teeth cleaned by one of the friendliest hygienist ever! I felt like they were the cleanest they've ever been. Thorough job. The dentist (Dr. Crowl) took his time eventhough I didn't have any cavities. I'll be back. Pros: Great and friendly staff, clean facilities more

If you like being taken to collections with threats of law suits while you are still sending them payments towards your bill and submitting insurance claims this is the place to go. \r If you want to work out payment plans forget it. You have two options, pay in full or pay in full. (Oops forgot they do have flyers for some bank card option, but they seem to fail to mention it.) \r If one of their procedures has an issue they send you somewhere else. \r Go here only if you are into self abuse and have a bottomless purse, otherwise I would seek out other professionals that care about their clients, not just their profit.
