Basic Service Work ONLY 11/21/2011

I was having transmission issues with my car. I took it to Hick's Automotive in Roswell, around the corner form my house, and had them take a look at my auto. They advised the transmission was fine. I then proceeded (over the phone) to have them conduct a 'transmission service' on the car for $250, as to just get the transmission in top working condition since their diagnosis found no problems. I only made it halfway home before the transmission began acting up, and had to have AAA tow the car to my residence. After Hick's inaccurate diagnosis, and expensive transmission service, I decided to take my car directly to the dealership for analyzing. The dealership advised the transmission was bad. more

I have used Hick's Automotive for years. I can tell you that they always do a great job.\r \r In a world where auto maintenance places over charge and under-deliver, Hick's Automotive runs their shop honestly and solve problems. They're grease monkeys to be sure, but they do the job and charge modestly in my opinion. They are truly worth their weight in gold! more

great place 2/13/2010

The BEST customer service I ever received from local auto shop, I placed 3 calls to them before I brought my car in, and they answered all questions I asked, and answered the phone on the first ring every time. I was shocked by their service, I never got the feeling that they were too busy to talk to me. more

Honest, Competent, and Fairly Priced 2/12/2010

We have taken our cars to Hicks Automotive (across from City Hall in Roswell) for several years and think it is a top-notch repair facility. They are always "up front" and tell it like it is and have never done any unnecessary repairs from what we can see. Roswell has several good auto repair businesses, but I choose these folks to be the ones I trust working on my cars. They are not generally overly busy and they can get to my car in a timely fashion. (I think that is because they are not located on a main street and that many folks don't know of their existence.) They are ASE certified. more

We like and trust Hicks Automotive. We've taken our cars there numerous times. They do good work and we trust them..and that's important when looking for an automotive place. I'd recommend. more

Great people 6/3/2008

I have used Hicks for 10 years with autos ranging from an old Ford Bronco to a new Infiniti sedan.\r Fair people, expert knowledge and an excellent reputation distinguish this company. And, unlike visiting a dealership shop, they will analyze the problem and fix only the problem - without suggesting expensive replacements.\r Highly recommended more
