Hickory Lakes Events-Facilites

Unfortunately I can't give this place the 0 stars that I feel it deserves. I would have NEVER paid to fish anywhere had my husband not convinced me that quality and quantity of the fish you catch makes it worth the money. We sat from 7pm until 4am and caught ONE fish (approx 6-8 inch catfish) with VERY few bites the rest of the night. It was NOT worth it. We had a better night of fishing the next night at Greenfield for FREE. And we would have also had better luck at Little Walnut OR Rockmill for FREE. In a stocked lake you should be able to catch more than ONE fish in 8 hours! Or AT LEAST be getting bites throughout the night. Pros: Good lighting, easy access to spots, not many insects Cons: 8 hours and we caught 1 fish. Not even 10 bites otherwise. more
