What a cool place this was! My wife and I loved the themed rooms (we had a ""fishing"" theme), the staff was friendly and inviting and we will definately be going back. It's only a mile(ish) outside of the West Yellowstone entry gate making it very convenient if you want to spend several days exploring the park. The full kitchen allowed us to cook at the hotel and save a ton of money by not going out to eat. The man that checked us in couldn't have been friendlier, he wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay. They also have some cool statues around the property that's fun to take pictures of with children. more

Loved the feel of the cabin. Homey and warm! The woodcarving was spectacular. Ask to see available rooms to pick which 'theme' you like. Room, bathroom, kitchenette very clean and up to date with all the amenities needed for our week stay, including a closet and dresser drawers. Staff, very friendly and nice. Location, if you're looking for West Yellowstone, very convenient just outside the West entrance. Also enjoyed the town of West Yellowstone, best shaved ice ever (across from grocery store on side street)! Canyon Street Grille YUM. Quaint town, nice people! more

we took off for west yellowwswtone with no reservTIONS. we got to west yellowstone QBOUT 8 PM. THEY PUT US inn a cabin that was adorable. we ended up staying 3 nights. and the help was awesome. soooo nice and so accomodating. more

My sister and I stayed here for a few days the first part of June, and I can not think of anything to complain about. I called ahead and they even added a coffemaker in our room for our stay.\r Unfortunately, due to weather we became trapped an extra day and they not only gave us a room for an extra day, but gave us an upgraded cabin for the same price we had paid for a smaller one the previous 4 nights.\r People complain about being in a parking lot which is totally exagerated. There is not a lot of foliage, but it beats staying in a hotel that you can find down any street. Cabins are warm and comfy with gracious baths and fit the area.\r I would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. more

We were looking for a place to stay in West Yellowstone and came across these cabins. We were greeted by a very friendly staff that was more than willing to show us the unit before booking. The inside was very clean and absolutely beautiful. Having traveled across numerous states and multiple hotel accommodations over the course of the week, this was hands down the best experience we had. It's like staying in your own little house. It was very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. We couldn't have asked for better accomodations than we received at Hibernation Station. more
