Staff, facility, price and location is excellent. This was the best three nights we had during our trip through Montana. The staff are the best with no exceptions. Will be back every time we travel through West Yellowstone. Thank you for a GREAT experience. more

We only stayed one night, but it was a great place and a good location. Basically, they are separate little cabins grouped together. So, you if you are a large party, or just the two of you, you will get a cabin or cabins that will fit your needs. Each one is a very cute log cabin, and decorated in a tasteful cabin style. I'm not sure if they all have fireplaces, but ours did. They are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Each has a front porch with a bench. No fridges, no coffee maker, but it was available in the front office. You could walk or take a short drive to a variety of restaurants in town. Not cheap, not expensive, kinda in the middle. more

Our family reunion of 46 people was very happy with the cabins and the helpfulness of the staff. The picnic area was reserved for our use for 2 nights of catered meals and our family horseshoe tournament. For any large family gathering in this area, this is the place to be. more

Our travel agent says, ""we're going to put you up in this wonderful log cabin..."" She didn't know we live in a log cabin.\r But that being said, it was a really nice place run by really nice people who ""get"" customer service. We loved the independence of being able to park right outside the door and not worry about disturbing - or being disturbed by - other guests. The pillows could've been softer but...now THATS nitpicking.\r It really set the tone for a great week in Yellowstone and Grand Teton and had we known how nice it was going to be compared to where else we stayed later in the week, we would've made West Yellowstone our base for the week! more

While we have vacationed in West Yellowstone/Yellowstone National Park, this was the first time we stayed at Hibernation Station. We found it to be truly outstanding and reasonably priced. All rooms are actually very rustic individual cabins. Each was built of natural logs by the owner. They had most of the modern items: large well appointed bathroom with a tub/shower, wide screen TV, chest of drawers, coffee pot, and a place to hang your fishing waders. I say most items because they have no A/C but given the cool climate of the Yellowstone area this was no problem. They also have an on-site laundry room. \r The staff was very helpful and the maid service kept our room quite clean. \r Oh yes, check out the many sculptures of wildlife on the property. \r We will stay there again and have no problem recommending it others. more

These are cute and cozy cabins near the West entrance to Yellowstone Park. We had a comfortable, clean cabin with a queen-sized bed, full bathroom (tub and shower), t.v. and phone more

We really enjoyed our time here! The man that showed us where our cabin was, was super friendly, he showed us how to use the fire place and where all the dishes were located! He went out of his way to make our trip memorable! more

I booked this hotel before reading any of the reviews and began to have misgivings on what I might have done. My expectations were set rather low after reading reviews. Price was the major factor being $50 to $100 less than the name brands and with our cabin having a kitchenette area need for FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST was not that important. \r I was pleasantly surprised. The room was exactly as described but at best housekeeping got a 75%. Was a little nervous about safety as the latch on the door was broken. Need for A/C was nonexistent as the nights during the summer hot spell always went into the 40's. As a side note NOT ONE OF THE HOTELS INSIDE YELLOWSTONE PARK HAVE A/C. TV was old but in 6 nights we turned on the TV once. Who comes to Yellowstone to watch TV?\r No Pool or hot tub a negative but we did not see one advertised nor with price paid expected these amenities.\r I gave this a higher rating than it deserved to try to offset some of the negative feedbacks that had expectations that the hotel would be as good as the more known and higher ranked West Yellowstone at much less the cost. \r I got a great price and the hotel MET THAT EXPECTATION. more

Hibernation Station I must say is one of the best places we have stayed in years! We arrived and were upgraded to a larger cabin @ no additional cost because they had some extra rooms open and wanted to treat us right. The cabin was amazing the softest beds I have ever slept in.. We loved the large jetted tub and fireplace. They are also located right on the boarder of the national forest so you have a great veiw as well. This will be the only place we stay from now on when visiting Yellowstone. more

I would definitely reccomend staying here; these cabins were right outside the West Yellowstone entrance. The cabin we stayed in was 800 sq feet, and had a kitchen fully equipped with dishes, pans, etc. It had a gas log fire place as well. We stayed one night, but wish it would have been more! We were just passing through Yellowstone on our way to Hamilton, MT so we didn't have much time. I would stay here again. more

Just returned from a snowmobiling vacation in West Yellowstone, MT. Was very fortunate to get to stay at Hibernation Station where their cabin ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Our cabin was very cozy and warm and lots of room. It had all the amenities you could ask for. We would ride during the day and come home to a great cozy warm cabin. Their was plenty of room for our large enclosed snow-machine trailer. The Management couldnt have been nicer and treated us like family. We will absolutely be back. more

I stayed at the Hibernation Station with my family and visited Yellowstone National Park. We saw most of the sites we wanted to see in Yellowstone and returned to our Cosy room each night. My kids loved the queen bunk beds. The rooms were clean and really nicely decorated. It gave us the real feeling of being in the mountains, yet they were extremely comfortable and luxurious. more
