Kamilah gave me a massage that was so AMAZING that only my body can describe. I was so refreshed and felt great afterwards that I signed up for their membership. My wife and I are currently in Afghanistan but will be coming home soon. I have been searching for weeks for a Spa Package to give her on Valentine’s Day in which she can use when she returns. However, shopping while overseas is no easy task unless you are dealing with Hiatus Spa! First let me start by saying that Kristin provided a level of customer service that I thought no longer existed in customer service oriented businesses. I do not know Kristin nor have I used Hiatus Spa yet but I can assure you when I return home I will be there as often as possible. I contacted several Spas in the area looking for information and assistance regarding treatments and packages but did not receive responses from most of them for several days. Kristin contacted me within in hours of my initial email and in less than two days she had sent me all the information I needed and put together an awesome spa package for my wife. Kristen also designed a customized gift certificate for my wife so that I would have something to give her for Valentine’s Day while we are still here in Afghanistan. While I have not used the services at Hiatus Spa and have not met Kristin, I can truly say that my experience so far has been one of unprecedented customer service. You can tell that Kristin genuinely cares about her customers and if all the other staff (which I am sure they do) cares as much as she does then I know that Hiatus Spa will be a place that we will continue to visit on a regular basis. I was so pleased with the level of customer service I received and the extra effort that Kristin provided by going above and beyond that I decided to purchase a membership package for my family. I cannot wait to get home and visit Hiatus Spa and enjoy some peace and relaxation with my wife and kids! Pros: Excellent Customer Service Cons: None So Far more

I have had the best facials at Hiatus spa & retreat that I have ever had! I have tried other extremely high rated salons in Dallas and they don't even compare. Doreen is awesome and I get compliments all the time on my skin. I even brought my husband in today and he is usually critical of every spa, but he enjoyed it so much that he joined! From top to bottom, the entire spa was thought out and detailed tightly, delivering a very peaceful and well-run atmosphere. My husband really appreciated the choices made in construction and pointed them out, that's particularly interesting to him since he builds houses for a living. My massage therapist was perfect, she payed special attention to my woes and relieved my sciatic pain for the rest of the night, which can be especially prominent after a long ride (we drove up from Austin)! Love the feet washing experience, by the way. Curiously, I always think of that part when I'm getting massaged ("God! I hope these are clean!?"), but these guys eliminated that worry for both participants. Loved the smells, and loved trying the products after the massage during my bath. Both my husband and I left smelling glorious and very de-stressed. It really set the tone for us for what was a very pleasant Dallas weekend away. The facial services are top notch and the Aveda products are wonderful for your skin. Lindsay is very professional and I always leave refreshed and relaxed. Hiatus Spa has the most friendly and professional staff. I always look forward to my monthly treatments. LINSAY is my go to for waxings and CLAY is a must for massages. With the monthly program they have I am able to treat myself on a monthly basis at an affordable price. Hiatus Spa is a must for anyone that wants to experience an incredible spa experience! Hiatus Spa provides a peaceful & calming environment for de-stressing. I've experienced great customer service and known all the staff to be friendly and accomodating. The spa is open seven days a week (until 9 PM on weeknights), which is a definite plus for my busy work schedule. As a member of the H-Circle, I've enjoyed monthly massages for a great price. Lindsay is unbelievable - the core facial and plant peel have been so great for me that I signed up for H-circle - and I never do programs like that... But at $59/month I've actually been able to commit to getting facials as often as I should. Love the place, love Lindsay, and love looking forward to the 'me-time' every month. WELL worth the trip! love, love,love hiatus! going to the spa has always been something I try and do often, but because of my hectic work schedule, the cost, 6 year old, etc. it never seems to make sense for me. until I found hiatus! they really makes the spa experience make sense for us "real world women". I recently became a member and I'm super excited about committing to my wellness (as cheesy as that sounds!) And I normally dread my monthly wax maintenance (don't we all), but not since joining hiatus. ask for Lindsay, she is the best... friendly yet quick (and painless!) I always go on my lunch break since it's right down the street and am always back to work in time (even after relaxing with their delicious Aveda comfort tea!). highly recommend!! I had the best facial ever at Hiatus! The facial started off with a nice foot bath and they had a special promotion where you could add on a free Carribean Therapy foot scrub. It was very nice and gentle and a great way to step into the spa experience. My aesthetician, Andrea, then continued to discuss with me my skin concerns and diagnosed a treatment to fit those needs. I got the Hiatus Facial with a Plant Peel add-on. I'm not sure if it was the plant peel or the facial itself, but my skin was absolutely glowing afterwards. Andrea also prescribed a skin regimen for me to follow in between appointments. My skin is feeling and looking years younger!! The best part of this place is that they have a membership program where you pay $59 for any of their core services -- facial, massage, or body treatment. I'm in loooove. :) more
