Never been to the one on the West Side, but went for brunch here recently and was sorely disappointed. The service is flaky - we were starving and had to remind our waitress several times of the muffins that come with brunch. Those didn't come until the end of the meal. Overall, we had to flag her down whenever we needed something, otherwise she would have kept walking in her laps around the restaurant.
As for the food, the smoked salmon was overly cooked and fishy and the eggs were so so. Maybe it's better off to take the crosstown and dine at the one on Amsterdam Avenue.
Pros: Nice decor
Cons: Service is out of it, Food is not good
