Best Food Ever 4/25/2008

My family loves this place. We go anytime we can. Always good service and great food. We love the double cheese burgers and onion rings. My dad lives in Arkansas and every time he comes into town for a visit we go to eat at Hi Boy. We live a little ways from it but it is worth the drive. Pros: service and food is awesome!!!!!!!!! more

Best Double Cheeseburger & Onion rings! 4/1/2008

Hi-boy! What can I say? I'm an hooked, I worked at the old Hi-Boy on noland back in the 80's and I frequent the on on blue ridge cutoff about once a week. There are buy one get one free coupons in multiple local publications and the best part is............... They never expire! They will accept expired coupons! The place is always clean and food is cooked to order! more

fast service the best 1/2lb double cheese burger ,onion rings and shakes,fish sandwiches are also a favorite of mine,service is fast and friendly,that sandwich is cheaper if you have a coupon buy one get one other wise its a little pricey for the 1/2 pounder but a good filling burger non the less i have eatin there for more than thirty years Pros: good service and great food Cons: ????? more

i have been eating at this restaurant for over 30 years, even though i now live out of state it doesnt matter where i am in kc i will make the trip, best double cheeseburgers ever, onion rings are the best i have ever tasted.. I have yet to come across a better burger ANYWHERE. I've been across this country and I'm glad I live near Hi Boy. Their special sauce is the best, their burgere are ALWAYS piping hot and fresh, and everything else they serve is excellent. The service is impecible. The second you walk in, you have 5 people asking if they can halp you. This is no exaggeration. Literally everyone at the counter who is free yells ""Can I help you?"" the moment you walk in the door. No wonder this place has been around forever. I rate Hi Boys as the very best hamberger joint in this country. They use fresh meat and cook it very well. Taste of everything is great. Workers are pleasent and quick to fill your order. I drive many miles just to get to eat a good hamberger. Onion rings and tatertots too. Sometimes, restaurant is crowded, but thats because they is so gooood!
