After the installers left me to clean up the glue on my new (very expensive) floor, while I was on my knees scrubbing, I found splintering from flawed boards and a large gouge where they had moved a piece of furniture.
I waited a few weeks (to cool off) and then called and was assured by the salesman that all could be taken care of, no problem. I told him that sending a guy over with wood putty was not what I wanted (just to make sure because I had already noticed a sloppy cover-up job from the initial installation. Well, the first thing out of the installers mouth when he came in was, ""let me run something by you"" You guessed it!!!! WOOD PUTTY. Told him No and when I was sure he had plenty to do and understood the instructions, I left for 20 minutes. Came home and was surprised to find that he was about to pack up, leaving a large splintering area we had discussed FILLED WITH WOOD PUTTY. He hoped I wouldn't notice!!!
Since then I have found more flawed boards and more large splintering areas. I guess for the money I should be willing to put up with the b.s. but I am just not into talking with these people anymore so I'll chalk it up to lessons learned.
Won't use them again (obviously) and wouldn't recommend. Go to Jax. if you have to.
Pros: quick service/large selection/good job up to a point
Cons: installers are talented but lazy and need to be watched
