I came in to the airport from the US Virgin Islands. When I got to the Hertz center and waited almost 30 minutes to get to the counter my reservation was ready and took just a few minutes and I was on my way. \r

About 30 minutes into my trip to Ft. Lauderdale, I was pulled over by the Florida State Troopers. The right rear tail light was out and the officer welcomed me to Flotida with a warning instead of a ticket and told me to get the car replaced or the repair the light. The next day I made the trip back to Miami airport and found out I had been sold an insurance package I didn't need or request for over $600 dollars for a 99 dollar a week rental. The car was exchanged with some attitude and almost rudeness. This time we reduced the insurance signed the docs and was on the way again. The following day, the ""never lost ""gps failed. I used my Samsung Galaxy to access your online help to try and reset the car gps, but it wouldn't come back on line. The agent on the phone said a replacement car was available at the Ft. Lauder-dale airport , so away I went. When I pulled into the return area I was met by a hertz person and escorted to sign some document for the car. \r

When I returned to get my belongings and get the replacement car I started driving out of the car center and discovered my phone missing. By the time I made the loop around the airport entry to get back to the return area the car I just returned was gone. I reported the loss to the garage herz helper. He took me to the desk clerk, who took me to another herz person that made some calls. The lost and found department was locked up and no one had the key. So I waited,. And waited. One of he garage herz guys finally came over and said he was going to the returned car and get my phone. A while later he returned , but couldn't find my phone. The desk hertz person said that someone wit a key should be back anytime now to open the lost and found. Seems like about 9 pm some one finally came to tell me there was no phone, but I could go to your website and file for lost and found item. I did just that but no response.\r

The next morning I had a flat on the left front tire and got some help to repair it. Then I went to Sprint in Ft. Lauder-dale and bought another phone and had the old one deactivated. I really did not want to buy another $500.00 dollar phone to replace one I suspect was stolen by a hertz employee.\r

I ended up using 3 cars in seven days from hertz to complete a training seminar and do some sight seeing. I don't want to do that again. I am 61 years old and remember your commercial from the 60s as a kid and I never thought a company like your would turn out like this.\r

My name is Rocky Hughes and I am a little confused between 3 cars, but one of the car receipts I have is RR189145946.\r
My travel and rent dates were from Sept. 25th through October 3. 2013. My carelessness for not protecting phone is my problem, but perhaps you may want to screen your employees a little better. \r

Could we please work out some compensation on the hassle of three cars in 7 days?\r
