Lots of great shows! 8/16/2005

This theatre has SUCH a great atmosphere. EVERY time I have been there, I walk in and feel like I am somewhere important. Somewhere fancy and exquisite. Even when I am there to see my niece's tap show! I have been there to see and perform in a variety of shows, and every time I am there, I love, love, love the atmosphere. I definitely suggest it for an off-broadway show or one of their "retro movie nights" - think black and whites, james dean movies, etc.! more

Culture is alive in Central Pennsylvania! Hidden a block or two off of Chocolate Avenue in Hershey is the historic Hershey Theater. This building is simply beatiful and stunning. The theatre gets a variety of worldwide touring performing arts - from Broadway musicals to plays to ballets to orchestras to soloists to everything you can imagine. Subscriptions are sold that include blocks of multiple performances or individual seats to performances can be purchased. I distinctly remember going to see the Nutcracker around Christmas time with my mother when I was 6 or 7. Memories... more
