This park is definitely one the perks of Houston. It has everything in it. There are tons of trails for walking, a golf course, the zoo, Miller Outdoor Theater, swan boats and a japanese garden to name a few. I highly recommend checking out the Festival of Lights they put on during the holidays. It's simply stunning. It's one of our family's Christmas traditions now. more

place you can enjoy 8/23/2005

So many attractions there around the park, you can enjoy it with your family the whole day: Houston Zoo, golf course, museums, water park, and grass. more

fun for summer days 8/19/2005

hermann park is a very fun park to go to. it has wide open space and a lot of fields for the occasional picnic. the miller outdoor theatre is very fun to attend and the shows that are put on there are fun to watch. with the metro rail right next to it, hermann park is easy to get to. the texas medical center is also right there as are many museums so you have a lot of sights to see even if you get bored with hermann park. more
