Herkimer Is A Minneapolis Landmark! 9/25/2005

The Herkimer Brewery & restaurant is such a fun place to visit. In the summer you can watch people pass by while enjoying the sunshine on their patio. The food is great, and the beer even better! Moreover, it's just such a fun place, with friendly service & a great location, that even if you've never visited it, it's worth checking out. more

Outdoor Patio is Great on Sunny Days! 8/19/2005

Herkimer manages to be a quality brew pub, dinner and brunch spot all in one. The best eggs benedict and on of the best bloody marys (chino latino and rudolphs are up there as well) I have had in Minneapolis. Another bonus is that they are dog friendly on the patio-so your pooch can enjoy the sunny weather, a fresh bowl of water, and your company as you dine outside in the summer. more

    The bartenders are super-friendly, and the tabletop shuffleboard in the back is a worthwhile diversion. Bring some change, because you're sure to find something you like in the jukebox. For food, there's chicken quesadillas, zucchini fries, the BLT with shallot mayo, and a spicy Cuban pork sandwich. Owner-brewmaster Blake Richardson is always twisting knobs on the five silver brewing casks, but he can't keep up with the thirsty crowds.
