Felt at Home! 10/30/2010

Going on six years I have always felt at home in Heritage Community.\r My neighbors, the office staff & maintenance staff have made it possible.\r Friendly parties, good entertainment, & good food are great for everyone getting together.\r Personal & resident problems are taken care of ASAP.\r On bases of 1-10, I would recommend, 10 being the highest to anyone. \r KS \r more

pleasant place to live 10/14/2010

I used to live at Heritage Village, but sadly had to move to care for a family member. I loved living there though .Management was always friendly and helpful, and they were always quick to fix things. The grounds are beautiful and kept that way. Great community room to gather and visit with other residents. Lots of activities and loved the monthly birthday and pizza party! My dog was allowed for a small fee and utilities (except electric) were included. Overall, a very nice place and would definitely recommend. more

Don't move here 6/15/2010

When I moved into apt.267, I occasionally heard a loud buzzing noise coming from inside the wall of my kitchen. After several attempts to find the source of this noise, it was discovered to be coming from the downstairs neighbors HVAC unit. The property maintenance guy fixed it, at least temporarily. The sound started again several months later, quiet at first but growing louder over time. The noise got so bad I had to move out of the living room and live only in the bedroom where it was bearable, except it woke me in the morning, even though I wore ear plugs. I put in a request for it to be fixed but now things got more difficult. In the end, after months of asking, nothing was repaired. I was told it was all in my head and forget about it. I solicited help from AIMCO corporate customer service people but they couldn?t or wouldn?t do anything. I got a local government mediation service involved but they were disregarded, also. My only option was to move. When I received my rent deposit back I was stunned. I was charged $181 for being 2 weeks late on giving notice to vacate, even though I told the leasing agent, ?this is my last check, is there something I need to sign?? She said no. When I found out from a corporate person that yes, I needed to sign papers, they charged me a late fee. This place charges $1 per month to park in the lot. They charged me $.63 for parking for ? a month that I was already moved. I suspect this was charged for the late fee 2 weeks but I don?t know. They also charged me $141 to pro-rate the paint for 4 years! more

DO NOT MOVE HERE 10/13/2009

Noel is the manager and she screams and curses at the old peoplke that live there. Elderly abuse!! My mother has lived there for 5 years and is always screamed and cursed at when she asked a simple question. If you confront her about the issue of being so mean then she won't renew your lease. I am moving my mother out of there and I have filed a complaint with the property owner. She's lucky I'm a christian otherwise I'd rearange her ugly fat face! Pros: Nice looking apartments Cons: The managment is awful more
