At Heritage Square you can host a wedding , ride the Alpine Slide, buy unique Christmas ornaments, sit at an old-fashioned soda fountain, take a train ride, have an old-time photos taken and much more. The old-west ambiance is unique and encourages you to linger and the shops have some very different items--many of them with a Colorado theme. At Christmas time it is decorated absolutely beautifully! It's such a relaxing break from the malls! Often in the summer, there are street entertainers. The wedding bell chapel is quaint yet beautiful--perfect for a Colorado, old-west, or Victorian-themed wedding. This is the best family fun place to go! We love the Alpine slide. It is a concrete slide that winds down the side of a mountain. You ride down on a thing with wheels and a handle to control the speed.We let our kids ride with us when they were 3 and 5. They absolutely loved it. You can control the speed. If you want to go fast, let the operator at the top know so they let you wait an extra amount of time so you don't get stuck with a slowpoke, chicken rider in front of you. The shops are unique and fun. They have a 50's type restaurant that is fun too. more

This is a great place to go to in the summer. There is a Victorian shopping village, theater, amusement park, Alpine slide and lots of food. There are rides for little kids, and go-karts for the big ones. They also have a fishing pond and miniature golf. The Alpine slide is a big thrill for everyone. The rides are a bit expensive but there are coupons available. more
