Heritage Institute

This school is REDICULOUS. When i first came there i just wanted to get information about the school but instead somehow got signed up and enrolled the first day. The program sounded great. They said i would be an x-ray technician making about 20$ an hour and i would get a degree! NOT TRUE. my first day everyone in my class said i was the ""new victim"" i never quite understood. untill i asked one of the girls who sat by me in class. she said ""this school is bogus all your going to become is an MA"" which was true! come to find out. i was never going to become an xray techician they lie to you. your just going to become an MA making 8.50$ an hour. i already talked to graduates who couldnt even find a job! because no one will accept their credits & the ""supposable"" degree you get is a Occupational associate of medical terminology degree DOES NOT EXSIST look it up. google it. its not real. all it is, is a spiked up certificate to con you into this school and its 23,000$ to be an MA here. Its way too much money just to say your an MA making 8.50$ an hour. ide make more waitressing. to be an MA at the local college i go to only cost $3,500. also i had 3 different instructors every class cause they all kept getting fired they just didnt know what they were talking about. we never did anything in class. i never learned anything except how my instructor night was at the club the night before. also you do not get a PROFESSOR you get an instructor (a previous heritage student who graduated and cannot find a job anywhere) lucky enough one of those instructors was really nice to me and told me to get out. dont consider this school. and if your in it GET OUT! im now going to a community college for RN and the admissions lady i went to at my local community college said i was lucky to get out of that school when i did. she said the school wasnt even accredited. they will do anything to get your money and scam you. just look at the other reviews! im living proof of this school. if you have any questions about this school and i havnt gave enough information please dont hesitate email me. i will respond. gorgeousitstru@aim . c o m and if you dont believe me i can think of many people who are in my class you could contact aswell. take it from my experience dont be another victim! They let people teach that legally arent suppose to be teaching yet, the teachers sleep with the students, Admin is very mean and unhelpful Pros: cant think of any Cons: super expensive more

I looked into Heritage for a career in massage therapy. I couldnt justify the long drive from north of the airport and the expensive tuition for something I still didnt know I really wanted, and I was afraid of going back to school after 20 years and having to learn anatomy. I found Alpha School of Massage, also in Jacksonville. I would still have the long drive, but they were offering FREE tuition. The information is easy to understand, and I have an A+ average. The tests were not easy, but having free tuition makes it all worthwhile. They are only offering free tuition for a limited time, I dont mean to discount Heritage, but I will have my license in the next couple months, and I wont be bogged down with loans to pay off, or in debt for $9,000- $10000 to pay them off.
