Do NOT live here! 12/18/2011

Heritage Creek is by far the worst place I have ever lived. I have lived here for 2 year and personally have encountered and witness how poorly this complex is ran. I am completely unsatisfied with the way the front office runs this apartment complex. The women running the office are rude and unprofessional by belittling residents behind their back as well as to their face. I constantly have to call the maintenance staff to have them fix misalliances thing wrong with my apartment. The staff never fixes the problems that arise; they temporary fix the problem by using the same broken pieces to appear fixed. However, within a week of use it is broke again. It is way over priced for what is here. You get suckered into a game where at first the price is "discounted" price, then if you live here for longer than 6 months they raise the rent $100.00 or more. This is not the place to live. It is worth your mental state and your pocket book to keep looking for a better place to live. more

Peaceful location for families and singles 7/30/2009

I lived in a lovely 3 bedroom, ground floor, for 15 months in 2007-08. It was the very bldg where a stalker boyfriend did in a college girl -- so sad, but not at all an indictment on the neighborhood. A couple of maintenance issues were promptly handled. Polite office staff! Neighbors were amazingly quiet -- all college students and young professionals. Adjoins a neighborhood of apts with hard-working Spanish and Ukrainian speaking immigrants, and older Denver residents in brick single family homes. Cherry Creek Schools. Bike trail and lots of safe shady walking in the neighborhoods. A few homeless beggars right on CO Blvd, but that's 4 blocks away. This place is a country oasis in the city, and I wish I still lived there -- left for cheaper rent only! Pros: Well maintained / managed; super clubhouse & apts Cons: Some Cruddy Biz on Colorado Blvd 4 blocks away more

Having recently finished my year-long lease at Heritage Creek, I feel compelled to warn those who might be considering moving here. In short, I suggest that anyone looking for an apartment in Denver look elsewhere; these apartments are poorly located, badly built, and hideously overpriced. \r First, the location of these apartments is horrible. The management is quick to point out that the apartments are located within minutes from upscale Cherry Creek. What they fail to mention, however, is that Heritage Creek is located in one of the worst areas of Denver, a veritable den of iniquity. The apartments are within one or two blocks of several strip clubs and ""adult"" shops. I felt increasingly embarrassed and uncomfortable to be living in this area and I am not an easily-offended, puritanical person; I am just someone who wants to live in a decent and safe area.\r Second, the apartments themselves are pseudo-luxurious and made of cheap material (linoleum everywhere). My apartment in particular was crawling with insects (spiders, ants) despite the best efforts of the exterminator. Plus, my hot water kept going out throughout the winter due to a defect in the building, forcing me to call a maintenance worker each time and wait for him to come over and (temporarily) correct the situation. I was not compensated in any way for this inconvenience. \r Finally, a few months ago, there was an actual HOMICIDE at Heritage Creek. The management notified the residents of the incident and mentioned that police would be at the scene conducting their investigation. This truly scared me and reaffirmed my feelings concerning the safety of the area. \r To everyone looking for an apartment in Denver: there are plenty of places in this city that are better located, more reasonably priced, and nicer than the apartments at Heritage Creek. I urge you all to look elsewhere. Cons: Location more
