I am a summer citizen for AZ and subscribed to the HJ for the 3 months I spend here in Logan. I paid $39.00 back on May 18th for the HJ to be delivered daily and the Sunday edition. Ten days went by before I started to receive the paper. So far, Sunday paper was not delivered for 3 Sundays plus numerous daily papers. They just do not care and they have your money. The whole thing sucks. BEWARE more

Good for a local paper 8/21/2005

The Herald Journal does a good job of keeping you up to date on what is happening in Cache Valley. The coverage can be biased in conservative way seeing the majority of the population here is conservative republican. It is a small paper, but it does a decent job. One complaint is that they often get their information wrong, but they try hard. more

Stay current with local events 8/20/2005

I have had many years experience with the Herald Journal as a customer and former papergirl. I have always gotten this paper to get local news and events. The Herald Journal has a weekly insert that highlights local concerts, local activities, and movie reviews. There are some things I think the paper can improve on. The paper is very small and they rely heavily on AP articles. The local articles sometimes lack substance (like the silly surveys). Opinionated articles sometimes wander away from the opinion section and I see mistakes quite often. It’s not a horrible paper, though, and it keeps you connected with the town. more
