I recently went to this facility for an abortion , as we told them we had no income they provided us with low income insurance and we got the abortion pill for FREE . This place is very helpful and the staff is very friendly .I highly recommend this place. more

I agree with "anonymous tipper." I had a horrible experience here. I met with one of their doctors who offered me two abortion pills. When he offered me the two I asked about the diferrence, and he literally described the diferrence as one is will make it painful and another will not. Thus, I geared to the non painful one and ironically this pill also cost 600 dollars and medi-cal "does not cover it." I was skeptical about all those so I decided to reschedule my appointment and told them that I would return the following day. After going home and doing some research I found out the there is no such thing as a "non-painful" abortion pill. In addition the staff was extremely rude and have no respect for confidentiality! I was given a pregnancy test to assure that I was pregnant and sat in a room waiting for the results. The medical assistant annouced my results in front of other patients. Her smart choice is absolutely wonderful. The doctors knows what they are doing and are a very warm, caring, genuine .They were great! Very friendly, thorough with patient care & took plenty of time to answer all of our questions. This place should be called "HER WORST CHOICE!" This place is AWFUL! Stay away. They rip you off. I went here without looking up reviews becuase I am an idiot and saw that it gives the abortion pill for free on their website and I was desperate for an abortion. I drove AN HOUR from Orange County to get here. I walked in yesterday and the nurse asked me for $200 BEFORE I even saw the doctor. I have no income and was told that I qualify for Medical. I brought this up to the nurse and she said that this $200 is a CO-PAY to Medical, which is TOTAL BULLSH*T. After telling her that I did not have the money she said "okay, we need to pull your blood up and we will get you the Medical benefits." I explained that I am HORRIFIED of needles and she insisted that it was necessary to see the doctor for her to draw my blood first. I let her draw the blood and after she began to demand the $200 again and said that she needed my social security # before I could qualify for Medical WHCH IS A TOTAL LIE. I will be reporting them to the Medical offices on Tuesday. I told her I could not afford to pay the $600 for the abortion pill (she said the $200 did not cover the cost of the pill). After telling her I had no money she sent me away. I left with a GIGANTIC bruise on my arm and no help at all. I NEVER EVEN SAW THE DOCTOR because he wouldn't see me unless I paid. After this horrible experience, I began looking up reviews on the internet. This is where I found out about Dr Brandeis and the other people who were scammed at Her Smart Choice. He is the doctor who owns Brandeis Medical Center in Beverly HIlls. He was WONDERFUL! I did not need to give my SS # to get the Medical. I stated my income and he was able to give me the abortion pill and ALL pain medications after FOR FREE! He was so warm and welcoming as well. I suggest anyone who may need an abortion to NEVER go to Her Smart Choice becuase they are CRIMINALS! more
