The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a shop of any kind in my entire life, and that's saying quite a bit. I took my rim in to be fixed. They called me to tell me that the tire was no good and would need to be replaced. I told them just needed to move my car a few miles and that I'd take care of the rest later. They not only refused to do that (which I can understand), but then they refused to finish the job I hired them to do and told me they don't deal with ""customers like me"" and told me to come get my tire. When I arrived, the manager was immediately hostile and refused to finish the job he started. They also gave me this story about how their welder broke just before finishing the job. The guy I talked to also stated that now I was kind of screwed now because they're the only ones who offer this service. Fortunately I got my property back from them without charge, the weld had actually been completed, and the only thing it needed was to be ground down. As someone who works with metal for a living, this last step in the process is easy enough for me to handle. I think they saw a guy with specialty rims and tires and decided that they could stick me for a much more expensive job, and when I refused to play their game, they tried to turn it around on me and make me seem like the stupid one. They guy I talked to threatened to kick my a%$ on the way out. By the way, I had another shop check the tire and they told me that it was still in decent enough condition. Bottom line, these people are crooks. Don't go to Henry's.
