The sales department was excellent, no hassles or harassment. However, their finance department is seriously corrupt. Like the review post on 5/2/2009 by Jessica B they also tried to tell my husband and I that they couldn't get us approved through our credit union as we requested. They stated that they tried multiple other banks as well but ""no one would touch us."" They did however get us financed through the company they work directly with, Ally Financial. In disbelief that our credit union denied us we purchased the vehicle through Ally as we thought this was the only bank that would finance us. When we got home from the dealership with the vehicle something just was feeling right about the information that was given to us. The next morning we contacted our credit union as we couldn't believe they denied us (we both have good credit). Interestingly, we learned that this was not the case. The finance department had not even sent the loan application to our credit union and they didn't deny us. We processed the application ourselves and we instantly got approved with a significantly lower interest rate to boot. This company misrepresented information to achieve financial gains by closing a loan out through ""the company they work directly with."" We immediately contacted the dealership with our complaints. We demanded the appropriate paper work to complete the loan process with our credit union, which they did provide for us. However, they still processed the other loan as well and excepted the loan funds from Ally even though they knew we were not using that company. The dealership then tried to tell us that maybe next Tuesday or Wednesday they would write a check to pay off the loan with Ally and overnight it to them. This was not acceptable to me and I made that known. The loan with Ally has allegedly been reversed. I will be contacting Ally on Monday to confirm this. Don't believe ANYTHING this finance department tells you! DO NOT finance anything through them! They will scam, lie and cheat you!!!! more

I am in sales and drive a lot throughout the Valley so I needed a car with good gas mileage and XM Radio for my favorite show ""The Dino Costa Show"" on Mad Dog Radio so I bought a 2009 Pontiac G5. I had a recall on my power steering so I brought it into the dealership to have it fixed. While there I asked to have my check engine light checked to get an estimate on the repair. I fully expected to pay the repair cost since I have 91K miles on the car. My Service Consultant Heidi Burns let me know my car might be under warranty and my response was, ""I have 91k miles"" she said after 2007 the warranty is 5 year 100k on power train. They gave me a loaner car, a nice one I might add, and she said she would let me know the outcome. 1 hour later she called let me know the issue and said everything was covered. For anyone in the Phoenix area looking for a good, no GREAT dealership to work with choose Henry Brown Buick GMC in Gilbert. I have to say that I have never been treated better anywhere! The staff that I have been working with were so professional,kind and truly had my best intreats at heart. Thank You Henry Brown for employing such a good staff. I have been shopping for a new truck for over a year and every store I went to tried cramming me into what they thought I should have! ALL BS GAMES! Not at this store. Dear Mr. Brown\r I recently stopped at your dealership on Val Vista Rd. I was greeted by one of your sales staff, a Mr. Keileb Williams. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out the new Buicks finer points. I advised him I would need to speek to my wife. He asked if I could bring her by after she got off work. After discussing the matter with my wife, we decided the 2011 was out of our price range. I called Mr. Williams later that evening and advised him of our situation. I asked if there were any used vehicles. He came back on the line and told me thay had just taken in a 2007 Arcadia and it was in great shape. I went over to the Center the next morning and met with Scott Williams and Keileb and they arranged for me to take the car to my wifes school where she was working. Well to say the least my wife fell in love with the vehicle. I returned and Scott took over and sat down with Marlene (Finance Person) AWESOME! All three of your employees worked very hard to get us a deal and payments we could live with. I am pleased to say my wife and I are thankful for there efforts. Thease employees deserve an ""atta boy"" for making you and your organization a pleasue to work with. Really, This dealership has been over the top to us. They make us think we're their priority customer. That's impossible for us to be that important, but you'd believe it if you saw it. Scott, over in service, communicates with us better than any veehicle service writer that we've ever met and we've owned many cars and trucks and have many more negative stories than good over the yrars, but i've already recommended several friends to buy GMC trucks from Henry Brown.
