Henrieta's Table No one in Cambridge has a monopoly on Henriettas table. It's a big metaphor in a big tent and more than a watering well for the famous or the infamous. Breakfast at Henrietta's does not quite approach the intensity of living theratre. But it is Cambridge in the round. TV personalities, secretaries of state, controversial tenured professors, VC execs -- all hob nob there. But the relaxed tone and spacious design allow peope space but the freeodm to be informal with strangers -- of whatever social situaiton or influence. more

The Table, as we fondly call it 4/16/2006

Henrietta's Table is a long established feature in the Charles Hotel in Cambridge. It serves a hearty mix of innovative, new england inspired appetizers, including the Maine Rock Crab and Corn Chowder with Smoked Bacon. Its menu contains nothing complicated, but the simple spread of seafood and meat dishes (and one vegetarian) will surely leave one highly satisfied after a meal. Its dessert menu is likewise inspired by traditional favorites in New England, including two varieties of bread pudding. Surprisingly affordable, dinner costs an average of fifteen to twenty five dollars a person. Brunch here is also very good and comes with a New York Times. more

Can't complain about a thing 2/12/2006

This is an excellent restaurant. From the superb warm bread basket, to the wonderful salads, fresh and simply prepared entrees, and delicious desserts. Excellent service, reasonably priced and very consistent. Good wine list at fair prices and excellent micro brews.Hard to beat anywhere. more

Excellent comfort food 2/5/2006

Henrietta's Table is located in the super posh Charles Hotel, but is probably the most casual restaurant the hotel has to offer. They serve comfort food dishes with a focus on fresh organic ingredients. They make an excellent chicken pot pie that can warm you up from whatever weather is bearing down upon Boston at the time They also have a famous bread pudding with chocolate- it's so rich it's a meal in itself. The cocktails here are also excellent and original. They have designer martinis that change with the season. Service is excellent as well- always professional and courteous. more

Fresh Food at Henrietta's Table 8/15/2005

Henrietta’s Table on the edge of Harvard Square is one of the best places to eat in Cambridge. Its located in the Charles Hotel, on the second floor, and you’ll find ‘Fresh and Honest’ food that is produced only with farm fresh ingredients from the New England area. There is an everyday menu composed of things like Pot Roast and Lamb Shank, and each day there are specials to keep people coming back. Though a tad on the pricey side at 40 dollars a person, the Sunday Brunch must be tried at least once. more
