Henderson Community College enrolls students in academic, technical and transfer programs and provides training to more than 4,000 citizens through its continuing education program. The college operates various divisions, such as physical science, arts and humanities, and social, behavioral and biological sciences. The division of physical sciences offers courses in mathematics, chemistry, physics, astronomy and statistics. The division of arts and humanities offers courses in English, communications, music, art, theatre, journalism and philosophy. The division of social and behavioral sciences provides courses in business, information technology, interdisciplinary early childhood education, history, human services, psychology and sociology. The division of biological sciences and related technologies offers classes in biology, microbiology, medical terminology, dental hygiene, dental assisting, emergency medical technology, nursing and related health science courses, and anatomy and physiology.
