While visiting my sister in Monterey I tripped and chipped my front tooth. In agony, I begged my sister to find a cosmetic dentist that could see me right away. She picked up the phone and called her family dentist who was able to get me in right away (thank goodness!). We arrived at the dentist in minutes and I was immediately called back to see Dr. Hemingway. Luckily for me, he was not just a family dentist but also specialized in Cosmetic Dentistry! He took wonderful care of me and made me feel at ease. I left his office with a huge beautiful smile, thanking him all the way. more

To say that I do not like going to the dentist is an understatement. Dr. Hemingway is the ONLY dentist I have ever been to who makes it comfortable. After seeing him for about 6 years for regular care, I requested cosmetic work. I had always wanted to have "perfect teeth" but had been too scared to get veneers done. I really wish I had done it sooner. I constantly get compliments on my smile and I feel like a different person. The care is really personal, they remember that I don't like the sound of drilling and provide me with a noise canceling headset and allow me to watch TV or Movies.( A small detail that makes a big difference.) The office is run really well. It is always immaculate (and I am picky). The staff is friendly. The Dr. is warm and professional. more
