Went here expecting something like Dante's Inferno (I believe owned by the same people) and found an overrated toilet. Stipparaoke sounded absolutely fantastic and inventive. OMG. What can I say? Awful. No place to sit, no place to stand without being in someone's way. Not because the place was overly crowded - but because the whole place is about as big as my living room. If smoking in bars was still legal this place would be a literal hell. Maybe that is the motif they were going for, who knows? more

i first went into devils point to see the fire dancers, yes DANCERS. not fire STRIPPERS. there used to be some talent in this place. they got rid of the talented and entertaining fire performers and replaced them with strippers that hold fire sticks on occasion while flashing their parts. aside from that, as if it's much different anyhow, the dancers there smoke cr@ck in the dressing room and bathroom, yes, i know this for a FACT when i walked in the bathroom and saw it. they are disgusting here. i don't know how they passed any sanitation standards. the bartenders talk like sailors and i wouldn't be surprised if one of their saggy's fell out by accident and they didn't notice. everyone here is spacey and the talent has slimmed down to desperate for drugs. Every Sunday at Devil's Point is Stripparaoke. Stripparoake is exactly what it sounds like: Karaoke had a freak love child with a strip club, and it's offspring shall transform the world as we know it. Everyone at Stripparoake is great, the bartenders are friendly and pour great drinks, the DJ is hilarious and sassy while keeping it fun for everyone, and the crowd is always friendly. The dancers, though, are the cream of the crop. Gorgeous, mischievous, and seductive, it's very easy to get distracted while trying to sing by these lovely goddess' of punk rock beauty. Somehow, people seem to get to the end of their songs though. The girls dance while you sing, and as the rules of Stripparaoke state: You can't touch the dancers, but they can touch you. Probably will to if your shy, nervous, cute, looking the other way, or especially if you're a girl. In fact your doomed if your a cute girl (of which there are many in the crowd, very chick friendly).The shenanigans don't stop with the molestation of the innocent though. Far from it. The endless number of redonkulous costumes to come out of the dressing rooms is priceless, from Hillary Clinton masks, to bridal-esque skirts and veils, it's the musical nekked circus I always dreamed of. Stripparaoke is a fantastically fun night, and a hoot and half all around. Pros: Friendly, great evening every sunday night Cons: My empty wallet. more

I used to hang out here almost every Monday, but now I no longer have that night off, and I miss the fire dancers. Cheapish drinks, usually stiff. Everyone that works there is really nice, even the bouncers. I think the smoking ban will make this place way better, I would have to leave sometimes because the smoke was too much, even for a smoker. I just love this place. It has to be the friendliest seedy bar ever. It's great early in the night when it's still empty and it's really fun late at night when there is a crowd.\r Great place to stop by on your birthday!\r Hottest, most creative dancers in town. The drink are always made ""well"" which is a plus. I love the Decor & how relaxed it is and if you get bored of watching girls there is always pool and video poker. And the fact that a lot of Sucide Girls have and still dance there doesn't hurt any either. Devils point has turned into a full time gothic oriented strip club, but not everyone goes there for the dancers. Still the best bar in the lower Foster Blvd. neighborhood - great bartenders, great atmosphere, and a small but loyal crowd of regulars who will talk your ear off if you want. Not a typical Portland seedy strip club. Go early to avoid a crowd, or later (10 pm and later) if you like crowds. more

Devil's point is a great place for playing pool or pinball or just sitting to chat with TV John. He is there every day and will keep you occupied if you've got nothing else to do! more
