After 5 yrs. of being undiagnosed for thyroid cancer, I moved to K.C. and found Drs. Hellman and Rosen. These Drs. literally saved my life. After an easy diagnosis (for them) I had surgery within 2 wks. removing the cancer and leaving my voicebox completely intact. They have an office filled with machines usually only found in a hospital, so I get routine scans and tests to make sure I'm cancer free and that my Synthroid med. is right on the button for correct dosage. I dearly love the brilliance of these Drs. , I'm sick at heart that the move out of state now will leave a void of peace of mind. However, Dr. Rosen will handpick a qualified professional in the city/state we are moving to. The office takes monthly payments for folks without ins. or larger bills, do NOT let that keep you from taking excellant care of your health. I would have died without them. more

I was very disaapointed that this doctor's office did not offer any sort of discount for a self-pay person without insurance. This is the first doctor, hospital or medical facility that I have ever encountered that did not provide some sort of discount to the common man that does not carry insurance. But of course they would provide discounts to the Billionaire insurance copmanies without hesitation. If you are a self-paying person, I would not go to this doctor. more
