We went to Heliotrope after seeing good advertising and good buzz about the quality of their products and services, and seeing that they are handicapped accessible. THEY ARE NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE AT ALL. We were there for a visit last weekend (December 11th) and not only were we not able to get a wheelchair more than ten feet in the store and not only were we told 'sure, we'll help you' only to be abandoned two feet further in than we were because an employee walked off and left us, but when I went in (after I took my wheelchair bound, cancer survivor spouse, who was VISIBLY CRYING when we left the store due to the humiliating way we were treated) and talked to the girl at the counter, not only was the girl at the counter not apologetic (she said she 'couldn't do anything, they were crowded with merchandise because of the holidays') but the employee that had been helping us (well, he moved ONE ITEM) LIED ABOUT LEAVING US TO FEND FOR OURSELVES TO MY FACE. \r

We were going to spend a tidy sum in there for Christmas gifts. We just moved to the area, and like to shop for unique items for our friends and family that live all over. Not one penny will I spend there unless they make the place accessible. NOT ONE. \r

LIARS. NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE.
