If you have a craving for German food, head to The Heidelberg Inn in Solvang. The menu offers everything from an array of Sausage plates and sandwiches to Wienerschnitzel and Suarbraten as well as American traditional foods. Not One of Solvang's Best 3/23/2007

Heidelberg is one of Solvang's only German restaurants, but it does not offer true mouth-watering German fare. The food is very conventional ""Americanized"" servings, and the wait help can be snobby and aloof. I ordered raviolis, and received a thick sticky unpalatable clump. One visit there was enough. Best food in Solvang 4/17/2006

I live in Lompoc, and eat in Solvang about onece a month. As soon as I found the Heidelberg Inn, I was hooked. Awesome German food and huge beers! more
