Editorial review from Citysearch 9/1/2012

I purchased a groupon to play Hedingham and our event was rained out half way through. As expected, the staff on hand issued a 9 hole raincheck for replay but when I returned to play golf they would not honor the raincheck. Management decided policy was no raincheck for a groupon even though I had a raincheck receipt that they issued. more

wow....houses everywhere 9/5/2011

Not a bad track, but I don't think they could have packed anymore houses on this course. New greens were nice, but other parts of the course needed some attention. Overall its not a bad course, just others in the area I would rather play for the price....The houses packed so tight really got away with me. I have never seen houses so tight on fairways. more

Tbow 7/7/2004

We played on 7/8/04. Except for the first green(maybe because we played at 8:00am), greens were fairly fast and in very good shape. True putting. Fairways were in excellent shape. The price was excellent -- $25! Except for the slow twosome in front of us, we should have been asked if we wanted to combine the twosomes-- because there was one foursome in front of the twosome in front of us, it was a very good experience. I would definitely be back. Pros: price, greens, fairways Cons: , slow twosome in front more

not worth it 7/17/2002

I've golfed in Raleigh for 10 years and at Hedingham at least 20 rounds each year. It continues to be more overpriced every year. Have had bad problems keeping greenskeepers and a PGA pro, the conditions have suffered. This course is about selling homes not golf. You'll understand immediatly once you play. Weekday rate were once a good value but prices have changed drastically. Now that all residents have a free membership the time to get around is terrible. Course design is silly, can only see the green from 3 tees Pros: location Cons: condition, service, price more

  • In Short
Raleigh's Hedingham Golf Club just begs you to ""grip it and rip it"" with its wide fairways, few hazards, and very reachable par 4s and 5s. Be careful, though, as there are more...
