We've been going here for years and are never disappointed with the meal - great seafood dishes, especially the shrimp fajitas and seafood soups. Service is fast and efficient and friendly, food is hot and fresh. If I could change one thing, I wish they would develop a refried bean recipe that is more textured and not so smooth and creamy. I also wish they would address the ambience a bit - for example, the music blasting out of a ghetto-blaster in the front lobby area is a bit annoying. Ocassional Mariachi bands add a lot to the character of this converted auto-dealership. While the decor is very plain and functional, and as much as I despise the fake-Mexican look in so many restaurants, I wish they would address the lighting and look of the place to create a mood that measures up to their high quality menu -their outdoor front patio is one step in that direction. The food still wins out over any negatives.
Pros: Incredible seafood specialties, hot and fresh
Cons: atmosphere
