Hechler, Steven L, Dds - Hechler Orthodontics

Would give zero stars if I could. Hechler uses outdated equipment along with an outdated approach. His office may seem snazzy with all the bells & whistles (movies for kids! iPads for adults! prizes!) but underneath the glitz is an orthodontist who's out of touch, impersonal, and arrogant. Any office with 8+ chairs for only one orthodontist is more interested in quantity over quality, and this is Hechler's setup. He says he sees patients on every single visit which is not true. He frequently sees patients on only every *other* visit, relegating appointments to his assistants and resulting in a patient going four months or more without actually seeing the orthodontist or having an adjustment. This is unacceptable. If you ask him a question about your treatment he becomes very defensive and condescending. There are so many better orthodontists in the area. Stay away! more

Other offices could greatly learn from the level of service and attention to detail Dr. Hechler's office provides. My children love coming to their appointments and as a parent I couldn't be more pleased with the communication and genuine courtesy from the outstanding staff there. more

Better than all the rest! My family and I have been seeing Dr. Hechler for many years. His attention to detail and the quality of care in which he provides have made our experience awesome! The service is outstanding and we are always greeted with a smile. My children enjoy seeing Dr. Hechler at every appointment :) more

I LOVE this Orthodontist! I have 4 children I have taken to him. The doctor is fun & outgoing & they go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable with Dr. Hechler by giving you a complete history of him when you first contact them in their welcome letter. Dr Hechler makes sure he is hands on with every single patient with every visit rather than letting someone else handle the patients so he makes sure to know each patient. Aside from 1 or 2 people there, the rest of his staff is friendly & will do anything for you to accommodate you. For the kids they have 2 different game systems as well as Guitar Hero & an in office movie theater! They make coffee in the morning & cookies in the afternoon & even provide laptops to the parents when requested. I love this office. more

I had been thinking about getting invisalign for a while now and with the referreal on invisaligns website i found myself at Dr. Hechler's office about 3 months ago. My first visit they gave me a tour of the place and let me say this is the cleanest place I've ever been in, they make you feel so at home and after being given many options to get my teeth straightened they assisted me with financing so I could make my smile perty :) I am now using invisalign with Dr. Hechler and I love it, he is so experienced and I feel confident that my final result will be wonderful more

I have been going to Hechler Orthodontics for awhile now, and have been very satisfied with the job they have done with my teeth. I recently got my braces off after having them on for almost two years. The braces hurt after I got them on, but after that, I barely noticed them. The prices are kind of expensive, but that's what you have to expect from Orthodontists offices. They have a neat token program for kids where you get points for being good in the office. You can them redeem them for prices ranging from footballs to beanie babies. I have been very satisfied with my time at Hechler Orthodontics, and would recommend them to anyone.
