At Heatherstone Kennels, your dog will not get walked, be able to run in a fenced-in area, or have the opportunity to play with other dogs. Your dog will have a small kennel with a small, fenced-in cement pad that he will be released into 3 times a day, and where he will be expected to do his business. Dogs are not allowed to interact with eachother, and there is no opportunity for exercise or play. The place is clean and has a professional appearance, and the staff is very nice. But I have never seen my dog as wound up and anxious as when I picked her up after one night here. If you have a lazy dog, this place is fine. But if your dog needs exercise and fresh air, please go elsewhere.
Cons: No time outside the cage.
