After being a part of heather ridge for more then 15 years I'd have to say its one of the nicest facilities I've ever been to. Not only have I horse showed around Texas, but around the U.S. Working with many trainers, many other barns and lots of different people. My experience thus far is one of professionalism, kindness and trust. The facility is clean and professionally run. The staff have treated my horse and I with nothing but respect and kindness. I trust everyone employed to care for my horse and his special needs. I would highly recommend this stable to anyone looking to board your horse, horse show or to just take lessons. more

Top Notch Stables 10/7/2010

I purchased a 3 year old thoroughbred 3 years ago after not riding for 30 years-mid life crises thing! With the kindness, gentleness, safety and expertise, Heather RIdge Farms has helped my horse and I, by training, teaching, sharing knowledge, and letting us be part of their ""family"". The facility is top-notch and all of the personel are friendly and professional. The grounds are very well kept and always clean. All three arenas have beautiful jumps set up at all times. Even my teenage kids don't mind tagging along. Thank you HRF for letting me enjoy the best escape from reality. more

Fabulous Hunter/Jumper Stable 10/6/2010

Heather Ridge is a beautiful facility. There are 3 great arenas, all with a full set of jumps. There are many other places to ride besides the arenas, including a field with cross country jumps. All of the trainers at HRF are very nice, easy to work with, and very qualified. \r \r I never have to worry about my horse at HRF, because I know he is getting FABULOUS care! The barns are so nice, and there is tons of great turnout. \r \r HRF also puts on great summer and winter camps for the kids! The kids always seem to love the camps, and they learn a ton! more

Best Place on EARTH!! :) 9/21/2010

Heather Ridge Farms is the most amazing barn in the south texas area. It is so much nicer than anything else in the area, I don't know why anyone would choose to board or take lessons anywhere else. I have borded my horse there for over 10 years and LOVE IT!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone! more
