Come to Heartland if you want the possibility of your pets being injected with expired or even wrong medications. The unethical owner had several separate DUI cases in multiple states meaning he repeatedly drove under the influence and risked lives. He also drinks alcohol at the clinic and violated his medical license frequently for expired medications, dishonest company advertisement, consumption of veterinary drugs for personal use, etc. Not to mention his lengthy list of speeding tickets which is appalling considering he occasionally transports pets. Doubting? Please seek his criminal or Board of Veterinary Medicine record. Beware, he isn't who the public sees. more

He also drinks alcohol at the clinic and violated his medical license frequently for expired medications, dishonest company advertisement, consumption of veterinary drugs for personal use, etc. Not to mention his lengthy list of speeding tickets which is appalling considering he occasionally transports pets. Very happy 4/15/2012

After having a bad pet boarding experience elsewhere, it made me realize just how happy I am with the care my dogs receive at Heartland Vets. I wish they did boarding! The staff is so friendly and they even come over and talk and pet my dogs while I am in the waiting room. I love our vet. I truly believe they care about the pets here. My only negative comment would be that they don't always return phonecalls the same day but I understand they are busy. Clean, friendly, etc. more

Do not go to this Vet !!!! 3/24/2011

I have an older dog who was having severe joint pain and could barely move. I took her here since the previous owner had used Heartland. They diagnosed her with hip dyspasia and gave her a pain injection, and offered to continue doing these injections once a wk if symptoms persisted. My dog was fine for another 6-8 mths, and had another flare up and this time it was worse. I decided to take her to get a 2nd opinion, thank goodness I did. She was then tested for Lyme disease, well guess what !!!! She was positive !!! I called heartland to see if they had ever tested her for this, and was told no. She has now maybe had this disease so long, from going to Heartland previous (yrs before I owned her for the same issue) and was never diagnosed correctly that it will be cured but she still may always have symptoms because of the damage it has caused ! You know that saying when they say I woudnt take my dog to that doctor well I wouldnt even take my worst enemy to this clinic !!!!! Even tho more

Caring, Professional Staff 8/18/2010

Though I've only just started using Heartland in the past month for my border collie, I can say my initial impressions are that the clinic is staffed with caring, professional people. I would recommend Heartland to any pet owner. more

Great clinic, even better staff 5/21/2010

I have been going to Heartland for several years now, the staff is great! They always take the time to explain things, and have a genuine concern for my pets. I recommend Heartland to all my friends and family, more
